Job Responsibilities
The product owner for calibration will lead the strategy and execution of calibration activities within the product development lifecycle. This role acts as a bridge between engineering teams, project management and stakeholders to ensure alignment on calibration deliverables. You will be responsible for defining the vision and roadmap for calibration processes and tools. As well as ensuring integration with software and hardware platforms. The product owner for calibration manages priorities in agile environments and works cross-functionally to meet performance, quality and regulatory standards. You drive continuous improvement and innovation within the calibration domain to support competitive automotive product development.
Example of responsibilities and Duties
• Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for calibration processes and tools.
• Act as the primary interface between engineering teams, project management, and stakeholders for calibration topics.
• Break down business and technical requirements into actionable user stories and backlog items.
• Prioritize the calibration backlog and ensure timely delivery of key features and improvements. • Collaborate with software, hardware and test departments to integrate calibration functionality into the complete system.
• Ensure alignment of calibration strategies with product and company objectives. • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for calibration-related topics.
• Communicate regularly with leadership on progress, risks and opportunities within the calibration scope.
• Support validation and verification activities for calibration systems.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in calibration practices and methodologies.
Required experience:
• Strong experience from SW calibration process within powertrain engineering, especially for electric propulsion components.
• Experience from INCA or similar calibration tools.
• Experience from CRETA or similar database tools.
• Experience from Vector HIL rigs and test tools.
Meritorious experience
• Experience from CANape.
• Experience with HV systems and/or powertrain systems.
• Knowledge of XCP, ETK and VX1000.
• Electrical engineering background combined with strong communication skills.
